We’ve never used a dry shampoo before as our dog is ok being washed. However he does get a white oily residue on his back and a bit greasy and bedraggled under the ears so we wanted to try an easy interim solution for this.
Firstly, our dog goes bananas if he doesn’t like the smell of something. We can report that Max & Lucy’s, Rosemary & Thyme smells totally authentic and he didn’t bat an eyelid. Absolutely nothing, zero reaction which is totally amazing but proves that the product has no chemicals and is totally acceptable to our dog’s nose.
Secondly, it was easy to apply and stuck immediately to the oily deposits which we then brushed out, leaving the fur soft and shiny.
So overall, a great product that didn’t bother the dog, did the job and will personally last us a while as we are only spot cleaning. We’d like to try a different scent next time though as the smell of herbs is quite strong but maybe that’s what our dog likes!
